Biological StationsSERNANP2021-10-12T07:20:07+00:00

Biological stations Our concept of Biological Stations is based on the need to provide well-preserved spaces for scientific research, in places of high biological value from where reliable data on the processes that sustain life and proposals for sustainable management are obtained.

Although each of our biological stations offers particular possibilities, they also offer an overview. They are strategically located to provide information in different environments within the Andean-Amazon altitude gradient. This allows comparative studies and monitoring of changes on a wide geographic scale.

These research centers are also a meeting point for environmental education programs, frequently visited by delegations of students from schools from neighboring communities. They are a place for exchanging experiences with the park rangers of our protected natural areas.
