The Airo Pai Communal Reserve aims to conserve
participatory way the different representative samples,
biological and cultural; the rainforest ecosystem
tropical and its transitional life zones, and the places
sacred and of cultural importance of the Secoyas,
thus allowing natural processes
and cultural activities continue to develop properly,
in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 28296,
Law of Cultural Patrimony of the Nation and Law Nº 29565,
Law creating the Ministry of Culture, as appropriate.

It is located in the upper part of the basins of the districts
of Napo, Lieutenant Manuel Clavero and Torres Causana
of the province of Maynas of the department of Loreto.
